Great to put you and keep you asleep. Can still wake up for a pee in middle of night, lye back down and you're gone until you wake in the morning. I rate it best sleep tablet I have ever had. Good prices too...

Been taking this drug as a sleep aid and need two 7.5mg to fall asleep, but it get's the job done very well with no bad side effects the next day. I just wish that it last a full 7 or 8 hours, four to five hours seems to be the norm. But it's still alot better than alot of other sleep aids that Iv'e tried over the last few months.

I went through a stage of strong depression and I believe this medication saved my life! One night I couldn't cope with my feelings and was in a hysterical state. I took a tablet and automatically started calming down and got sleepy- I finally had a good night sleep since then. I might have woke up once or twice in the night but was still sleepy so managed to get back to sleep. On the bad night I woke up about four hours later and took another half pill. They recommend taking one or two max per day. If anyone is ever suffering like I did take one. Lack of sleep does crazy things to people and my state of mind has increasingly improved since starting this course and through my strong depression, I knew it wouldn't last through the night; I had something to help me cope. If you are prescribed this, it is definitely worth a go. Takes about half an hour for me to start calming down on it and within the hour I'm definitely ready for bed! Good luck!

I have taken Zopiclone every now and then for my chronic insomnia. It is very effective in getting me to sleep but it doesn't keep me asleep. On Zopiclone I sleep for around 4 to 5 hours and then wake up but I usually can get back to sleep. After about 20 mins of taking Zopiclone I begin to feel its effects, when I stand up I feel my limbs getting heavy and sort of a drunk feeling but it's a pleasant feeling at the same time. I then go to bed and I usually fall asleep almost instantly afterwards, it certainly knocks me out. Overall it's an effective drug for getting to sleep but don't be surprised if it doesn't keep you asleep for 7 or 8 hours. But it is very effective if you take a long time to fall asleep.

In my head, I've always associated anxiety with social nerves and inactivity. Zopiclone is, for me, a miracle cure because, after just 15 minutes, I genuinely feel calmer and I'm no longer scared of meeting my neighbors, etc. With the zopis I've also got back my desire to go outside. I take them in the morning once I'm awake for depression, 1 at 12 noon so I can go outside and in the evening so I can relax and watch TV. The difficult thing is that I don't sleep during the day but at least my head is quiet!!!
